Job Title:  Salesforce Product Owner
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Job-Type:  Contract-to-Hire
Salary Range:  $125K – $150K
Referral Fee: $500

Position Overview:
The Salesforce Product Owner will serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders and the technical teams to define and execute product strategies that align with organizational goes. You will work closely with Sales and Customers Services teams to drive success on the Salesforce CRM and related sales and customer service tools/platforms. You will own the Salesforce platform vision, manage the product backlog, and ensure that solutions align with company goals, improve business processes, and enhance user experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Function as the primary point of contact for Salesforce-related projects, enhancements, and support activities.
  • Define and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, ROI, and stakeholder input.
  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements for new features, integrations, and system enhancements.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, IT, Finance) to ensure platform capabilities meet business needs.
  • Translate business requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with Salesforce admins, developers, and external vendors as needed.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Salesforce best practices, product updates, and new releases.
  • Champion change management efforts and training initiatives to maximize user adoption and value realization.
  • Define and monitor key metrics to evaluate platform success and user satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and data quality standards.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 3–6 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role, with direct experience managing Salesforce initiatives.
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce CRM.
  • Experience designing, coding, and implementing solutions on a Salesforce platform.
  • Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum/Kanban environment.
  • Strong ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice to Have Experience:

  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder, or Salesforce Sales/Service Consultant are strongly preferred.
  • Experience with third-party integrations, AppExchange solutions, and Salesforce Lightning components is desirable.
