Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: Utah or Arizona
Job-Type: Contract
Salary Range: $140K – $170K

Position Overview:
In this role you will focus on designing, developing, and optimizing robust reusable CI/CD pipelines and backend systems to ensure seamless, scalable, and efficient software delivery. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, define best practices, and delivery high quality results.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring optimized deployment workflows.
- Implement and maintain backend services and APIs using Go and Python.
- Leverage tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform, and Nexus to streamline and automate build, deployment, and monitoring processes.
- Troubleshoot and optimize system performance, ensuring uptime and reliability for critical systems.
- Develop clear, comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and solutions.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime and improve system efficiency.
Required Experience & Skills:
- 6+ years of experience backend development and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong experience working with GitHub, Jenkins, and Terraform
- Solid understanding of and experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure (preferably AWS)
- Experience with Octopus Deploy
