Job Title: Senior UI/UX Reporting Specialist
Location: Hybrid: Miami, Florida or Dallas, Texas
Job-Type: Contract
Referral Bonus: $150/Month
Summary of Position:
The Senior UI/UX Reporting Specialist will lead the consolidation, governance, and standardization of enterprise reports across multiple platforms, including Power BI, Salesforce, Tableau, and legacy SSRS systems.
This role is responsible for eliminating duplicate reports, implementing governance frameworks, and establishing UI/UX standards to ensure that reports are accurate, consistent, and visually aligned with corporate standards.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Power BI, enterprise reporting governance, and UI/UX design standards and be able to engage cross-functional teams to drive enterprise-wide reporting transformation.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Report Consolidation & Governance Implementation
- Assess and consolidate existing reports across Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, and SSRS.
- Identify and eliminate duplicate reports to streamline reporting processes.
- Implement report governance policies to prevent shadow users and ensure compliance.
- Define and document reporting guidelines to standardize processes and improve trustworthiness.
UI/UX Standardization & Guidelines Development
- Develop and enforce UI/UX standards for enterprise reports to ensure a consistent look and feel.
- Define UI/UX guidelines aligned with corporate branding and reporting objectives.
- Create documentation and training materials to drive adoption of UI/UX best practices.
Migration to a Unified Reporting Platform
- Plan and execute the migration of reports to a new, consolidated reporting platform.
- Ensure a seamless migration by adhering to governance standards and maintaining data accuracy.
- Optimize final reports for enterprise-wide consumption.
Shadow User Control & Governance Enforcement
- Implement strategies to reduce shadow users and prevent unregulated report creation.
- Establish access control policies to ensure compliance with governance guidelines.
- Conduct regular audits to maintain security and accuracy within the reporting environment.
Cross-Team Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with Salesforce, Tableau, Power BI, and engineering teams to align governance and reporting objectives.
- Educate business users and stakeholders on the importance of governance and UI/UX consistency.
- Sell solutions, gain buy-in, and explain the “why” behind governance and UI/UX initiatives.
