Job Title: SQL Developer
Location: Remote (Must be located in Central or South America)
Job-Type: Contract

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Developer to support the ongoing integration and modernization efforts within a large-scale SAP ECC environment. This role will focus on backend data operations, working closely with SAP ABAP developers and functional teams to ensure efficient, scalable, and accurate data integration across various internal and external systems.
This is a hands-on role requiring deep knowledge of SQL and experience working in high-volume, enterprise-level environments.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to support application and data integration.
- Work with SAP ECC’s underlying table structures to retrieve and manipulate business-critical data.
- Support data flow processes between SAP systems and external platforms such as customer portals, middleware, and EDI tools.
- Monitor performance of SQL queries and optimize for high-volume transactions (e.g., half-billion orders per month).
- Collaborate with ABAP developers and functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and security of data throughout its lifecycle.
Top Technical Requirements:
- Strong SQL programming (not a DBA role) – 6+ years of experience
- Hands-on experience with mySQL – 6+ years
- Working knowledge of SAP ECC data structures and tables – 6+ years
- Experience with data integration from SAP to external platforms or customer-facing systems
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting high-volume enterprise systems
- Familiarity with SAP MDM and middleware environments
- Understanding of Order to Cash (OTC) and Warehouse Management (WM) processes
- Ability to work in a collaborative, Agile development environment
- Nearshore or offshore experience in supporting US-based teams
