Job Title: Senior Dynamics 365 Developer
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
Type: Contract-to-Hire
FTE Salary Target: $140K
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Dynamics 365 Developer to join our team and provide high-level development support for our Dynamics 365 CE Field Service environment. This role will support the Solution Architect and lead the development of complex integrations, customizations, and automation within Dynamics 365, while collaborating closely with offshore teams.
The ideal candidate will bring senior-level technical acumen, strong communication skills, and the ability to mentor junior developers and support knowledge transfer.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support custom integrations between Dynamics 365 CE and external/franchise systems using AWS (SQS, Lambda).
- Build and enhance PCF (PowerApps Component Framework) controls and custom UI widgets using Node.js and React.
- Collaborate with offshore development teams: clarify requirements, provide technical guidance, and support issue resolution.
- Evaluate and implement appropriate automation strategies using Plugins, Power Automate, or CRM Workflows.
- Maintain and enhance a library of existing Plugins and custom components.
- Participate in code reviews and documentation efforts to ensure high code quality and maintainability.
- Provide support for inventory and parts management features built on Dynamics 365 (a plus).
- Maintain or extend Power BI dashboards (a plus).
Required Skills & Experience
Candidates should be able to speak to the following:
- Experience building custom integrations between external systems and Dynamics 365 CE.
- Solid hands-on experience with AWS services, specifically SQS and Lambda functions in support of Dynamics integrations.
- Proficiency in determining and applying appropriate automation technologies within Dynamics 365.
- Experience building and maintaining custom PCF controls using Node.js and React.
- Strong development skills in C# Plugins, TypeScript, and Dynamics 365 CE customization.
- Experience working in a hybrid onshore/offshore development environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on timely collaboration and clear documentation.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with Dynamics inventory and parts management functionality.
- Exposure to Power BI dashboard maintenance or development.
- Prior experience supporting franchise systems or similar large-scale, multi-entity Dynamics implementations.
