| Gravity IT Resources is seeking an exuberant and passionate Sr Systems Engineer who will architect, design, and implement solutions to complex systems, owning critical opensource infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain robust and secure Linux-based infrastructure, including containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker) and public cloud platforms (AWS, Alibaba Cloud)
- Implement and enforce rigorous IT systems hardening and security measures to protect critical infrastructure and data
- Develop and utilize automation tools (Terraform, Ansible) to streamline infrastructure deployments, configurations, and maintenance
- Develop and maintain scripts (Bash, Python) for system automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Proactively monitor system logs and activities, implement comprehensive infrastructure monitoring, reporting, and alerting, and ensure optimal system performance and availability
- Design and implement enterprise-level backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity
- Participate in a 24×7 on-call rotation to provide timely resolution of critical infrastructure issues
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing and optimizing enterprise-level Linux environments (RHEL, CentOS, OEL).
- 3+ years of experience deploying and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker
- 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining automation scripts using Bash and Python for infrastructure management
- 2+ years of experience utilizing Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management
- Extensive experience in automating complex infrastructure tasks and workflows to improve efficiency, security, and reliability
