Summary:
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the financial operations of our client’s organization. You will handle core accounting tasks, including reconciliations, financial reporting, and supporting accounts payable, while also contributing to various strategic projects. As a Senior Accountant, you will be instrumental in driving financial accuracy and compliance, working closely with leadership to support the organization’s objectives. Key Responsibilities

  • Reconcile daily financial transactions for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Perform month-end reconciliations, including account reconciliation and depth accounting.
  • Support consolidation efforts for real estate entities and handle GL coding.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and KPI metrics for leadership.
  • Transition financial reporting processes from Excel to NetSuite.
  • Conduct due diligence on payments and expenditures, including fixed assets and portfolios.
  • Assist in capital expenditure tracking and ensure transactions align with compliance guidelines.
  • Adapt to ad-hoc requests, such as creating reports or Excel workbooks for controllers and the CFO.

Top Technical Requirements

  • Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Hands-on experience in general ledger management and month-end reconciliations.
  • Expertise in reporting consolidation, including financial data integration and GL coding.
  • Ability to prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports with a focus on compliance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • CPA certification preferred, not required.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills to handle competing priorities.
  • Experience in M&A or consolidation for business entities is a bonus.
